Finding Our Way Home - The Art of Community Change

 October 15th - 17th, Enoch Turner School House, Toronto

 

Thisworkshop is for social innovators working with local or regional community challenges. There will be opportunities to sharpen our skills, tell our stories, and learn from each other. We encourage participants to join us who are connected to present or newly developing community building projects where engaging the community in partnership is an essential element. 

 

When a local community is on the path toward becoming more vibrant, alive, prosperous and whole,  a homecoming takes place — a coming back to ourselves and to each other out of friendship, openness, and commitment. At the root of this process is building relationships that last, perhaps the greatest result we can achieve. Out of these relationships incredible actions will keep emerging. This workshop was born out of our personal friendships and the friendship of the patterns we bring together: the Art of Hosting, Asset Based CommunityDevelopment (ABCD), and Shambhala Institute for Authentic Leadership.
