The Art of Hosting and Convening Conversations is a training for all those who aspire to learn how to work with groups in more interactive, engaging and effective ways; awakening collective intelligence, shared learning and effective action.
We are inviting leaders, managers, trainers, teachers, entrepreneurs, politicians, consultants and pioneers of all kinds.
Join us in a powerful experience that will strengthen your ability to create the space for genuine learning and empowered action.
We are part of a growing community of practitioners from Africa, Europe, the Middle East and North America who are working with these methods and approaches (world café, appreciative inquiry, open space, circle, chaordic design, the U process etc.) to invite the full potential of individuals and organizations.

Marianne Knuth
Host of Learning and Leadership
Founder & Director - Kufunda Village
Marianne Knuth is the director of a learning centre in Zimbabwe, Kufunda Village.
Kufunda is a learning village dedicated to creating locally rooted solutions to the challenges of community self-reliance, through the use of people’s
own imagination and creativity. Kufunda Village runs residential programs for rural community organizers around developing healthy and sustainable community. Marianne additionally works as an independent facilitator and consultant in the areas of individual and group learning processes, and
leadership development. In this arena she has organized several facilitation workshops (the Art of Hosting), and offers team building and organization
development retreats.
Sera Thompson
Host and Consultant - and The Pioneers of Change network
In the past 6 years Sera has lived and worked in Canada,
the United States and Southern Africa. Sera has organized and
facilitated conversations, conferences and strategic change processes that invite profound shifts in thinking and acting for non-profits, corporates, academics and government from teens to elders with dozens of nationalities. She is an active practitioner in a global learning community of people committed to finding and creating new patterns for the way organizations and communities access diversity, respond to change and manifest their full potential.
Tim Merry
Host and Consultant; Co-founder The Shire
Tim Merry supports organizations and communities to reach collective clarity and take wise action to improve their lives and the lives of people in their sphere of influence. He developed his craft as founder and partner in
Engage! Interact in the Netherlands, and continues his work in this field as a facilitator and free agent in Canada. Currently, Tim is setting up a community
leadership and social entrepreneurship training centre in Canada called The Shire, close to Yarmouth, Nova Scotia.
Toke Paludan Moeller
Co-founder, CEO & Senior Consultant of InterChange
Toke is a practitioner of Self knowledge and Aikido.
Since the early 1970s, Toke has spent years organising, designing, and hosting inspired spaces – dialogues, strategic change processes, learning conferences, circle councils, networked organisations – each in support of life-affirming leadership, interactive learning, organizational and social transformation and self-organisation. He is Former Chairman of the Board of the Danish Entrepreneurs Association as well as a professional Conference organizer (PCO). His is co founder and C.E.O. of InterChange, a Training and Consulting company, as well as co creator of the Art of Hosting, Days Like This, and The Flow game.
