Art of Hosting

and Harvesting Conversations That Matter

Art of Hosting Trainings

Here is a listing of upcoming Art of Hosting trainings worldwide – mostly 3-day events where you are immersed in and learn about the basics of Art of Hosting. Some of these trainings have a specific focus on top of the general training, mostly mentioned in the calling question.

There might be other events mentioned in this list, but they will all have entry-level quality (so no previous experience required) and will rely heavily on the Art of Hosting DNA for its design.

The Art of Hosting and Harvesting Conversations That Matter

Communities across southern Minnesota are facing challenges with workforce, shifting populations, and life in a global world. There is a need for conversations and actions that build-up communities to embrace these changes and help them thrive.

The University of Minnesota Extension is offering this three-day training that will teach you to use simple yet powerful facilitation practices that create authentic engagement, build community, stimulate shared intelligence, and motivate group members to lead for change. Participants will:

·         Grow skills and capacity in participatory engagement practices. With a new mindset, participants will be better able to work with issues of complexity and uncertainty.

·         Learn how to host and harvest conversations that matter, and that stimulate action in your community.

·         Build relationships and networks with others in the region who are using these practices.

Who should attend?

Individuals and teams who want to increase their skills and learn ways to engage others who can inspire and create change.
